Brush and India ink on Japan laid paper. 41 × 30 cm (16 ⅛ × 11 ¾ in.). Signed in pencil lower left and dated by another hand: Nolde. 1912. The India ink drawing is registered as number Fr.A.1518 in the archive of Stiftung Seebüll Ada And Emil Nolde, and will be included in the catalogue raisonné of watercolours and drawings by Emil Nolde.
