Watercolour on Japan paper. 23,9 × 16,3 cm (9 ⅜ × 6 ⅜ in.). Signed in pen and black ink lower right: Nolde. The watercolour is registered as number Fr.A.3948 in the archive of the Nolde Stiftung Seebüll and will be included in the catalogue raisonné of watercolours and drawings of Emil Nolde. The watercolour is part of a two-volume, hectographed typescript: Emil Nolde: Neuguinea. 1913 and 1914. No place, published by the artist, [1941]. Edition approx. 40 copies. On one of the front pages with the artist's dedication to Luise Schiefler, Hamburg.. [3023]
