Information

Woodcut on laid Japan paper. 64,8 × 48,9 cm (97,7 × 66,3 cm) (25 ½ × 19 ¼ in. (38 ½ × 26 ⅛ in.)). Signed and dated. Catalogue raisonné: Mason/Gretenkort 463 2 (of 2), edition a (of b). Date not covered in the catalogue raisonné by Jahn/Gachnang. One of 20 Arabic numbered impressions from a total edition of 23 copies. Munich, Maximilian Verlag – Sabine Knust, 1986. Framed

Condition Report: No. 1/20. Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges without tears or losses. The paper due to the artist's technique slightly undulated and with uneven minor time staining, in particular in the plate. In the margins, isolated, material-related irregularities and faint printer's creases; in the lower margin a few faint handling creases. On the reverse, the upper half of the sheet firmly mounted in multiple places with adhesive paper strips onto the support cardboard
