Blue ink on paper. 61 × 43 cm (24 × 16 ⅞ in.). Dated and signed in pencil lower right: 82 Baselitz. Inscribed with the archive number in pencil on the reverse: G. B. Z. 1268. Slightly faded.

This is the study for the painting "Adieu” (1982), in the collection of the Tate Gallery, London.
