Information

Watercolour and India ink on thin cardboard. 49,8 × 67,8 cm (19 ⅝ × 26 ¾ in.). Signed lower right: S-Rottluff. [3855] Framed

Condition Report: Harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges somewhat unevenly cut, otherwise without tears. The corners on the right side, each with a minuscule loss (0,4 x 0,8 cm). The paper slightly unevenly time stained and, due to the artist's technique, slightly undulated. Right of the centre, one small oval spot with concentrated fine craquelure. In the margins, mainly at lower right and left, isolated brownish discolourations as well as, at the upper edge on the right, brown adhesive marks; each due to former frontal mounting. On the reverse, in the lower left sheet area, moisture stains; these recto not visible. At the upper edge remnants of various paper mountings and slight sporadic scuff marks
