Information

Etching on ivory-coloured laid paper. 17,7 × 23,9 cm (24,7 × 32,4 cm) (7 × 9 ⅜ in. (9 ¾ × 12 ¾ in.)). Signed in black ink lower left in the motif: Lehmbruck, as well as titled and signed in the lower sheet edge. Catalogue raisonné: Petermann 18. [3647]

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges partially somewhat uneven, otherwise without tears. At the upper edge left as well as at the lower edge on the right, each a miniscule loss (up to 0,5 x 0,6 cm); the one at the top backed with paper. In the lower right corner, a faint crease mark visible in raking light. The paper in the mat window slightly time stained and, in the margins outside the motif, slightly stained and faintly scuffed. On the reverse, isolated slight stains. In the upper corners remnants of various former paper mountings; atop, remounted with paper adhesive strips onto the support cardboard
