Drypoint on ivory-coloured firm Japan paper. 30,1 × 20,4 cm (47,3 × 33,3 cm) (11 ⅞ × 8 in. (18 ⅝ × 13 ⅛ in.)). Signed. Catalogue raisonné: Hofmaier 195 II B a (of C). One of 75 copies on this paper. Sheet 5 (of 10) from the set: Der Jahrmarkt. Munich, Verlag der Marées Gesellschaft, R. Piper & Co.,1921 (with the blindstamp). [3683]

Condition Report: Very fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges without tears or losses. The deckle edges in a few places with slight nicks and, mainly in the lower right corner, with accompanying faint creases. At lower edge in the centre, a small pale grey stain. Above of the motif, the paper surface lightly rubbed. On the reverse, one brown adhesive stain in the lower left
