Watercolour over charcoal on heavy paper. 55,1 × 69 cm (21 ¾ × 27 ⅛ in.). Titled, signed and dated in pencil at lower edge: Landschaft in Angeln Heckel 29. [3459] Framed

Condition Report: Harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The sheet edges without losses. The upper edge in a few places slightly bumped with a short tear left of centre (0,7 cm). The lower edge left as well as the right edge below the centre, in places, bumped, with a few edge tears (up to 1,1 cm) and fine handling creases. Here the upper paper layer, in places, slightly cracked open with partial minuscule paint losses. The lower right corner bumped and with diagonal creases. On the reverse, in places pinpoint foxing. In the lower right corner one brown paper tape remnant and along the upper edge several rests of various paper mountings. In the upper corners mounted with paper tape onto the support cardboard
