Information

Gouache and opaque white on paper. 104,5 × 77,8 cm (41 ⅛ × 30 ⅝ in.). Signed and dated in pencil at lower right and on the reverse: Bach 90. [3856]

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The sheet edges slightly scuffed, otherwise without tears or losses. The paper wavy due to the artist's technique; in places, resulting in short creases and printer's creases in the margins. In places, faint superficial scuff marks. At the centre of the lower edge, one slight dent; here the sheet edge slightly curled forward. In the lower right corner, one minuscule craquelure spot, and in the knee area of the left figure, one concentrated area of fine craquelure. At the centre of the upper edge, one minuscule mounting hole. On the reverse, traces from the artist's workshop and slight scuff marks
